Workers for hire speed up work on Suame street after show against Kyei-Mensah-Bonsu

Craftsmans and spare part sellers at Suame Magazine could before long hurl a moan of help as project workers dealing with the Suame Roundabout-Afrancho Road work nonstop to finish restoration works.

Authorities of Joshob Construction say somewhere around 1.5 kilometers of black-top overlay on the Nurom Hotel-Anomanye Nkwanta Road would be finished this Friday.

The woeful Suame Roundabout-Afrancho stretch of the fundamental Kumasi-Techiman Road has been a subject of a progression of road fights by craftsmans and spare part vendors at Suame Magazine.

Furious craftsmans fighting over postpones in fixing the pot-opening baffled street went after the Member of Parliament for the area and Majority Leader, Osei Kyei-Mensah-Bonsu who was meeting the administration of the craftsmans.

What gave off an impression of being a traditionalist visit by the Member of Parliament for Suame to the worries of his constituents over miserable streets turned unfriendly.

The furious craftsmans pelted the MP's company with sachet water and different things until a police group drove by the Ashanti Regional Police Commander whisked the MP away in a police vehicle.

Moses Narhkorli is an Asphalt Foreman at Joshob Constructions.

" We will splash the bitumen(first layer) so the next day. On Friday we can cover no less than 1.5 kilometers for a day. After Friday, we will proceed. Presently we've come there's no stop since more bitumen is coming from Togo," Mr. Narkorli added.

As per Mr Narhkorli Officials of Joshob Construction are promising to work nonstop in what they portray as an ever-evolving development plan.

"They ought to have persistence. What is happening isn't the issue for the MP; it is an issue for the worker for hire.

"The bitumen, as assuming we have everything, that issue wouldn't come. So they ought to have persistence all future great."

This, maybe, will come as a help to craftsmans and dealers of Suame Magazine who, as of recently, were confronted with dusty streets.
