Bayern coach Nagelsmann said it is "crazy" that Barcelona have been able to make multiple signings

Bayern Munich coach Julian Nagelsmann said it is "insane" that Barcelona have had the option to make different signings in the transfer window, including Robert Lewandowski from the Bundesliga champions.

Barcelona have struggled monetarily in late seasons, however had the option to seal the signature of double cross Fifa player of the year Lewandowski in a €45-million arrangement.

The Catalan giants also signed Brazilian winger Raphinha from Leeds for a revealed €55 millio and have brought focus back Andreas Christensen and previous AC Milan midfielder Franck Kessie to the Camp Nou on free transfers.

"They purchased a great deal of players, I don't have the foggiest idea how," Nagelsmann told a press meeting in Washington during his side's pre-season visit through the United States.

"The main club on the planet doesn't have cash however can purchase any player - - it's insane to me.

"They're tracking down solutions. I don't have any idea how, yet yes, they have a preferable squad over last season."

Lewandowski, whose agreement was because of finish one year from now, had said in May "it is sure that my story with Bayern has reached a conclusion".

The 33-year-old Pole left the club subsequent to scoring 344 goals in an eight-year spell and mesh in excess of 40 times in seven straight seasons.

"It was a reasonable setup for Bayern," conceded Nagelsmann. "It's extreme. He scored a ton of goals and was one of Bayern's enormous stars.

"However, he would've left in any case, in the event that it wasn't this season, it would've been the following one, so we would've had that challenge a year after the fact and that is the reason the arrangement isn't so terrible for Bayern."

Bayern, who came out on top for a tenth successive Bundesliga championship last season, have signed Senegal forward Sadio Mane from Liverpool during the close season.

They also finished a €67-million arrangement to snap up Dutch defender Matthijs de Ligt from Juventus and brought previous Ajax pair Ryan Gravenberch and Noussair Mazraoui to the Allianz Arena.

It is not the first time Bayern have hit out at Barca.

Previous club president Uli Hoeness said in June when Barcelona were interested in Lewandowski: "They are clearly monetary artists who, despite having a ton of obligation, evidently always track down a bank to give them cash to make such offers."

In March 2021, Barcelona said they were suffering from gigantic debts, cash stream problems and an enormous pay bill.

They have since spread the obligation, taken out another advance from Goldman Sachs and signed deals worth several million euros, most prominently with music streaming monster Spotify.
