Fast rising A-Luxe Records signed afro-beats music singer, Osayande Osazuwa, professionally known as Perry Lanky is ready to take his music craft to another level, as he is fully prepped up to take the Nigerian music scene by storm.
Speaking on his musical sojourn so far, the Edo State-born Business Administration undergraduate of Edo State University, Ekpoma recalled with nostalgia how he forayed into music.“It’s all started in the trenches in 2011, I was inspired by my elder brother to keep the energy positive until I was able to bring my brand of music with the help of my label, Aluxe Recordsâ€, he said.
Unlike some musicians, Perry Lanky who writes and composes all his songs recounted the challenges he has encountered so far. “Challenges are everywhere, fan base, financial assistance to put the right promotions on each track that has been released.â€
On projects he is currently working on, Perry who was recently signed in the ancient city of Benin, Edo State said, “I’m currently working on my EP; it’s a big project to me because it does not include just me but the entire people in my circle.â€
Probably as a result of his personal experiences in his quest for stardom, Perry Lanky who is also a computer engineer also noted that he would exploit his fame to nurture other young music talents if he eventually shoots for stardom.
He noted, that “I intend to keep making my wave and sound with even more energy than I started with. I don’t even mind making music my full-time job and my dedication also. If eventually, I become big right now, my first step will be in the south; because the trenches are full of talented beings and many have given up on it and many are still pushing. I think all they need is support and I’m fit for that.â€
Speaking about what inspires him when making music, he said; “I have this anger issue with myself, but to be sincere I found music a pill, so when composing I’m always full of that energy and happiness while composing all my songs.â€
No doubt, with four collaborations with Kaehip, Kofo, Razaq, Kizzy, and Believe DBadboy in the works, Perry Lanky believes his musical arsenal is enough to get him the desired fame he so craves.
