Fabrizio Romano provides an update on the Liverpool target as the Reds are supposedly putting significant pressure on him

This week, Fabrizio Romano provided an update on Bukayo Saka. Liverpool seems to be exerting significant pressure.

In his CaughtOffside piece, Fabrizio Romano provided Arsenal fans with an update on Bukayo Saka. In essence, the article states that the player and the Gunners are in negotiations since they both need his signature.

According to Romano, "Arsenal view Saka as a crucial player and view his contract extension as a new signing." "This summer, it will be a top priority.

The top English teams have been keeping an eye on the situation for some time, but the good news for Gunners supporters is that Saka loves the club and a negotiation is currently underway.

There, it is evident that Saka wants to extend, and Arsenal must comply with his requests. Fans of Liverpool will understand the sentiment since Mohamed Salah has put us all through it.

Liverpool, meanwhile, are now on the other side of it. Because the Reds will undoubtedly pounce if Arsenal is unable to reach a compromise.

Romano updates Bukayo Saka

Liverpool wants Saka, according to a June article in The Daily Mail. Currently, his contract's expiration date is 2023, however there are certain complications.

Arsenal still has the option to automatically extend his current contract by one year, but that will only be done in extreme cases.

After all, such circumstance only arises if a new agreement is not reached within a year. That would imply Saka wants gone and the Gunners' only way to keep him would be to have him sign a contract he doesn't want for another year.

The best English clubs are keeping an eye on this because of this, as Romano has stated. They will exert additional pressure, which is already significant, the longer it goes without a new deal. Arsenal would celebrate it like a new signing for a purpose, after all.
