The latest Man United rumours as a youngster looks set for another spell away from the club

Manchester United are reportedly planning to loan out youngster Facundo Pellistri again.

ESPN Uruguay reports that sources close to the player have confirmed to them that the 20-year-old will spend another season away from Old Trafford. Pellistri has spent the last two seasons with Alaves in La Liga, where he appeared in 20 league games last season.

However, it is expected that the United youngster will be loaned out to a club in Portugal or Italy for the 2022/23 season. Despite scoring in United's 4-0 preseason win over rivals Liverpool, the Uruguayan has yet to appear in either of the following games against Crystal Palace or Melbourne Victory.

Pellistri did not score or assist during his time in Spain, and it is believed that a loan to a new club will allow the winger to gain the playing time he requires to reach his full potential.

In other news, United's chances of signing Ajax winger Antony appear to have improved, according to new reports.

According to TalkSport, the 22-year-old winger could still reunite with his former coach as Erik ten Hag pursues a move to the Premier League. Speculation has raged on for some time, and recent reports suggested that a deal was no longer possible, but there appears to be renewed hope that United fans will be able to see the Brazilian at Old Trafford next season.

The Ajax player scored 12 goals and provided 10 assists in 32 games for the Dutch club last season, and United could pay up to €70 million to bring him in before the transfer window closes on September 1.

Erik ten Hag has received support in the transfer market this summer, with Manchester United making three signings already and possibly more on the way.

United have already signed Christian Eriksen and Tyrell Malacia from the Netherlands, as well as Ajax center-back Lisandro Martinez. The club has also agreed terms with Dutch international Frenkie de Jong, but it is unclear whether he will return to Ten Hag after a year away.

Ten Hag isn't afraid of his new role, either; reports suggest he's targeting players he knows rather than handing over complete control to United's scouting department. However, the Dutchman may face a major challenge before the season begins: Cristiano Ronaldo's future and possible departure from the club.

If Ronaldo does leave, Ten Hag may be able to go even deeper into his budget for this summer and really go all out. As a result, we simulated the remainder of his transfer window as well as the rest of this season to see who Ten Hag would replace Ronaldo with.
