' Reject it', Club Tells Target Not to Join Chelsea Despite Personal Terms Agreement

Despite signing Senegalese centerback Kolidou Koulibaly, Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel is eager to bolster his defense.

Several prospects, including Nathan Ake, Pau Torres, Jules Kounde, Josko Gvardiol, and Matthijs De Ligt, have reportedly been linked to Chelsea, but it seems like nothing more has occurred.

The signing of Raheem Sterling by the Blues earlier in the summer transfer window was done in an effort to improve Tuchel's underwhelming offensive options.

Jules Kounde, a defender for Sevilla, has been urged by Barcelona to decline a transfer to Stamford Bridge, according to Football London, because they want to hijack the deal and use the 23-year-old to bolster Xavi's defense.Despite having a personal agreement with Chelsea for a cost of £71 million that is expected to be paid, it is claimed that Barcelona is in contact with the player's representation.

Chelsea will need to speed up their moves because Barca appears eager to duplicate what they did with Raphinha.

If the agreement for Jules Kounde falls through, the blues are in communication with PSG about signing Presnel Kimbepe.

'Klopp Don't Miss' - Adebayo Akinfenwa Backs New Liverpool Signing To Silence The Critics

Adebayo Akinfenwa, a football league great and die-hard Liverpool supporter, has endorsed new acquisition Darwin Nunez to score at least 18 goals this season.

The Uruguayan scored 26 goals in 28 Premeira Liga in the previous season before moving from Benfica to the Reds for a club record amount.

Nunez has undoubtedly experienced the pressure and scrutiny that come with a £68 million price tag throughout the 60 minutes he has played in preseason.Akinfenwa thinks Nunez will be a success at Anfield despite the fact that he failed to take advantage of numerous opportunities against Manchester United and Crystal Palace and received harsh criticism from supporters of other teams on social media.

Never mind about him at all."

"[Jurgen] Klopp, in my opinion, doesn't really miss and hasn't missed much with the players he's acquired. I thus don't worry too much about it.""Mohamed Salah is the one that gives us our goals in that manner, so I'm not so much predicting [he'll score] 25 goals as I am."

"I don't care if he scores 18, he'll score 18 goals.

As Akinfenwa noted, Nunez is not acting alone in his effort to score goals for the Reds.

golden boot three times winner Along with the nearly certain goal-scoring prowess of Diogo Jota and, soon, Luis Diaz, Salah's numbers will initially lessen the strain on him.

A season with 18 goals would beat Luis Suarez's first complete season at Liverpool, when the Uruguayan scored 17 goals in all competitions.Akinfenwa, who played in the football league for 20 years, is regarded as the strongest football player in the world.

He played for a variety of clubs throughout his career, but his last years—during which he spent six years at Wycombe Wanderers—were undoubtedly his most successful.

Jurgen Klopp, the manager of Liverpool, called Akinfenwa after Wycombe gained promotion to the Championship.

His support for Nunez now joins a lengthy list of others, and he will want to score his first goal for the Reds this Thursday when they play RB Leipzig.
