Barcelona was offered £17 million at the time to complete the signing of Ronaldo.

If Ronaldo had signed for Barcelona in 2003, much of history would have been different. Instead, Ronaldo left Sporting Lisbon to join Manchester United before joining Real Madrid in 2009.
