Cristiano has a long football history, but today we'll talk about the day he almost signed for Barcelona and why the deal fell through. It was 2003, and Ronaldo was still playing for Sporting and dominating the Portuguese league.

Following Ronaldo's impressive performance against Manchester United in the 2003/2004 Champions League, he drew the attention of many top clubs across Europe.

Manchester United, Liverpool, and Barcelona were reported to have made contact with Ronaldo's agent, Jorge Mendes, in order to make a signing offer. Barcelona President Joan Laporta revealed in an interview that his club was close to signing Ronaldo but did not proceed with the deal despite being offered a lower fee than Manchester United. Barcelona was offered £17 million at the time to complete the signing of Ronaldo.

Cristiano Ronaldo has been a hot topic in the transfer market this summer, and some believe his son's choice of shirt for a concert could be a hint.

The legendary Portuguese forward is on the lookout for a new team after leaving Manchester United for a more powerful European club.

On the lookout, Atleti

Several teams, including Bayern Munich and Atletico Madrid, had been linked to Cristiano. For the time being, the Bavarians have refused to sign him, and the Portuguese have not decided where he will play next.

Among the many rumors, Georgina Rodriguez, the forward's partner and mother of two of his daughters, attended Rosalia's concert at the WiZink Center around his children.

Georgina's attendance at the concert is unsurprising given that scenes from the second season of her Netflix reality show 'I am Georgina' were shot at the event yesterday.

Mateo, Cristiano Ronaldo's youngest son, was wearing a Real Madrid jersey, the club where his father spent his best years as a footballer and Atletico's fiercest rival.

Some see it as a coincidence, while others see it as a nod.

This detail has not gone unnoticed by fans from both Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid, who see it as a nod to the Portuguese star's future.

Could someone whose family has such a strong attachment to Los Blancos end up at Los Colchoneros? Only time will tell.
