?CHLOE'S P.O.V?
We all sat there awkwardly, avoiding each other eyes.
"Where's Asher and Kyler?" Rob asked one of Asher friend's sitting with us whose name I found out was jace.
"They are not hungry" he replied.
"So this is Jason, my son. Melissa, Jason. Jason, Chloe" Rob introduced us.
"Your son?" I questioned.
Why I'm I just finding about this now?
"Yeah, didn't your mom tell you?"
I glanced at my mom and she sent me a sheepish smile.
"Off course I did... Chloe, you remember Rob son Jace, the one I told you about?" mom smiled at me, trying to get me to play along with her.
I give in. "right I remember now"
"Okay. Let's eat" Rob said as we all grabbed our utensils and started eating.
"Chloe,how was your first day at school?" Rob asked me, trying to start up a conversation.
"Fine" I answered plainly.
I wasn't interested in starting a conversation with him even of he is my mom's boyfriend.
My mom gave me a look that says 'behave' but I rolled my eyes instead.
Its her business if she doesn't like my behavior.
I wasn't the one who asked her to find a new boyfriend.
Moms and their trouble.
Rob cleared his throat.
"Lets start eating" he said, aware that I wasn't his fan.
All of us ate in an uncomfortable silence.
This was awkward.
After we were done eating Mom and Rob wanted to share something so jace and sat still on our seats waiting for them to speak.
Rob sent mom a knowing grin before they both announce loud in sync.
"We're getting married "they announced.
