The Coastal Development Authority (CODA) has relieved fears of the group of late President John Evans Atta-Mills over worries that his body has been befouled.

As per CODA, never during the new remodel of the Asomdwe Park was his grave opened.

In a public statement endorsed by Jerry Ahmed Shaib who is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Authority, it says, "We wish to express that the grave was not opened and consequently no despoiling of the body of the previous President, H.E John Evans Atta Mills, has occurred."

The delivery noted, "We, consequently, guarantee all good natured Ghanaians that the venture, which keeps on being a first concern for CODA, is well on time and will be given over to the Office of the President for true charging, once finished."

The issuance of the public statement became important after the sibling of the late president, Sammy Atta-Mills communicated outrage at Samuel Koku Anyidoho for his job in the redesign of the resting spot of his sibling without illuminating his loved ones.

He promised to take on Mr. Anyidoho while naming him as a joker over doubt that the grave of late President Mills might have been defiled.
