According to a recent rumor, Manchester United's pursuit of Ajax star Antony is "very much still on."

Erik ten Hag, the new manager, has already signed Christian Eriksen on a free transfer to bolster his offense ahead of the new season.

He already raided his former club Ajax for full-back Lisandro Martinez, and the Brazilian winger has also been strongly connected to him.

United is thought to have turned its focus elsewhere after having a £51 million bid for the 22-year-old rejected.

however, now asserts that they are aware such is not the case.

Alex Crook, a transfer insider, commented on White and Jordan by saying, "I've been getting some information about a player we've spoken about before, Antony at Ajax.

Many rumors claim that Manchester United's interest in him has waned.

"Last week, I thought that a deal for him would only be considered if Cristiano Ronaldo were to depart. That might not be the situation.

He continued, "I've heard from a very trustworthy source that Manchester United is still highly interested in signing Antony to the Premier League.

"Erik ten Hag is a huge admirer of his skills and thinks he can contribute to his rebuilding of Manchester United.

"They don't yet have a set price, but the amount talked in Holland is around 70 million euros, or somewhat less.

But according to the information I've received, Antony's transfer to Manchester United is still very much a go. As a result, you should keep an eye on him for the rest of the transfer period.

This week, Liverpool has also been mentioned in connection with Antony, who previously praised his old manager Ten Hag for developing players.

"Erik ten Hag is an exceptional manager with a keen eye for detail," he remarked.

Although the team is what matters most to him, his training sessions help every player improve.

He has given me a lot of confidence while I've been here, and I appreciate and respect him for that.

In three preseason games played since Ten Hag's arrival, the Red Devils have scored 11 goals and given up two.

Rivals Following Liverpool's 4-0 loss in Thailand, Melbourne Victory and Crystal Palace both won.
