Tabitha looked at Craig and when are noticed the anger in his voice,she quickly recoiled. “Never mind. I was thinking….it’s best she stays clear.”
Craig continued staring at her. “There’s nothing going on between Tanya and I. She’s just a naive and nervous student I’m trying to guide. Does that bother you?”
“No,it doesn’t. So…. what’s the next plan? I’m here to help out.” Tabitha quickly asked, trying to change the topic.
Craig faced back the road. “We will know soon enough.” He replied.

They got back to the academy several minutes later.
Tanya stood at the window all these while, looking out and waiting for their arrival.
She saw then get down from the car and continued staring.
Tabitha followed Craig towards his building and Tanya’s heart started to beat faster. “No. It can’t be. How can he trust her so easily? How? Did she cast a spell on him?’ Tanya asked herself.
“What are you doing there?” Maureen asked from behind.
Tanya slowly turned to look at her. “Master brought the priestess with him. They’ve gone into his building just now.”
Maureen stared at her and didn’t really see the reason for her worries. “And?”
“Oh Maureen. You wouldn’t understand.” Tanya sighed and walked to her bed. She sat down and shook her head. “I’m gonna make sure she doesn’t succeed.”
“The priestess? I heard they were friends from childhood so tell me why the priestess would wanna harm the master?” Maureen asked.
“Like I said before…you wouldn’t understand.” Tabitha replied.
Maureen shrugged. “Anyway…. there’s gonna be a tournament tonight. Have you heard? I can’t wait Tanya…..it’s gonna be fun. It’s the only day I get so happy.”
Tanya looked at her. “Tournament?”
“Yeah,why? You don’t look happy to hear that. What’s wrong?”
Tabitha shook her head. “Nothing. I’m happy.” She replied and looked away.

It was finally evening and everyone began to gather at the big ball for the tournament.
The students were not only excited that night,they were thrilled.
It was gonna be so lively.
Craig was in his room, selecting his outfit for the event when Tabitha walked in.
She stood behind him, admiring the nice view which his broad back offered her.
She felt like touching him there but restrained herself. She didn’t wanna look so desperate.
“Are you set?” She asked sweetly.
“Will be in a minute.” Craig replied, without looking at her.
Tabitha stared around the room and smiled. “Your room is beautiful. Everyone respects you too much. Almost like you are so feared.” Tabitha said and Craig looked at her.
“I gained the respect, Elizabeth.” Craig told her.
“I would rather you call me Tabitha.” Tabitha replied softly, staring at his chest.
It was covered with fine curly hairs and tiny tattoos. Her eyes dimmed at the sight.
“I know you as Elizabeth and not Tabitha. I do not know who Tabitha is.” Craig replied.
Tabitha stared at him. She suddenly moved closer to him and hugged him. “I missed you….to be honest.”
Craig stared down at her and looked away. He didn’t know what to do. He wasn’t sure if he was happy about Elizabeth being there with him.
But it seemed to him as if he’s gotten over her if not…why isn’t he thrilled about her hugging him right now?
“I have to dress.” Craig told her.
Tabitha withdrew from him and smiled. “Yeah. I know.”
Craig turned back to his wardrobe and finally picked out a black shirt.
Tabitha watched him as he put on the shirt and when he finished dressing up,she couldn’t stop looking at him.
Dressed in all black,he looked like the handsome devil.
Dark and dangerous.
She couldn’t wait to be his escort to the tournament. Sitting beside someone looking so charming would be an honour.
“Dagger.” Craig called as he sat on the bed, putting on his shoes.
“Yes master.” Dagger said as soon as he stepped into the room.
“Get the car ready.” Craig commanded.
“Yes master.” Dagger replied and was about to leave when Craig stoped him.
“Go to Tanya’s block and fetch her too.” Craig added. Dagger bowed and left immediately.
Tabitha stared at Craig, wondering why he asked Dagger to fetch Tanya. “Why did you ask him to bring Tanya to you?”
“I can’t attend the tournament without a lady with me. She’s going to be my escort.” Craig announced.
Tabitha’s eyes widened. “Huh??”
