By the time Riley finished narrating her story, Tanya was already in tears.
She couldn’t stop looking at Riley. She was really dead. Her dear friend was really dead and she was staring at her ghost right now.
It was unbelievable but it was true.
“It happened two months ago, Tanya. Don’t waste your tears.” Riley said,staring angrily at the ground.
Tanya stared at the ground, feeling so sad and sorry. “What…..do you want me to do?” She mumbled. ”
Riley looked at her. “Before that,I want to know why Krishna wants me to possess and destroy your image. Why would he want to do that?”
“They want to get me out of the way. He’s doing it for his disciple, Tabitha.” Tanya replied and Riley stared more intently at her.
“Get you out of the way? The way of what?” Riley asked again, getting interested.
“Tabitha wants to rule sky squared. She wants to take the leadership away from master Craig. They want me out of the way because my father was the leader before he was murdered.”
Riley’s eyes widened and sparked. “What did you say?”
Tanya nodded. “That’s why they want me out of the way. Tabitha also feels that the master favours me more than her.” Tanya added.
“That’s huge. Is this what you’ve been battling with?” Riley asked.
“It is.” Tanya replied.
“What do you want to do about it?” Riley asked
Tanya shook her head. “I don’t know,Riley. He’s very strong. Too strong to be conquered.”
“In this case,we have to help each other Tanya. I will help you destroy them…one by one.” Riley said with determination in her voice.
Tanya stared at her and felt like hugging her. She wanted to huge Riley so badly but she knew it would never be possible anymore….not when she’s dead. She sniffed and smiled at her. “I wish I can huge you right now Riley. I wish.
“Are you really going to help me do it?” Tanya asked.
Riley nodded, smiling inside of her. “Even if it’s the last thing I’m gonna do before I finally go to rest…. I’ve got to do it. I must find those people that killed me and wasted my life.” Riley’s voice was thick and strong.
Tanya shook her head. “How could they be so evil? Hitting someone to death.” She asked.
Riley stared outside the window. “I’m gonna look for them….all of them and I shall destroy them….all of them.” She said in a strangled voice.
“How….do we do that?” Tanya asked.
Riley looked at her. “In order to achieve this,I have to gain access to the physical powers. I have to possess you, Tanya.” Riley announced and Tanya looked sharply at her.
“What did you say?” Tanya asked.
“Are you scared? Are you scared that I might fulfil my mission?”
Tanya nodded, panting slightly. She was so scared.
Riley laughed and Tanya looked at her surprised. It was the first time she would hear her laugh since they’ve been talking.
“You laughed…?” Tanya asked, really pleased to hear her laugh.
“Judging from your look Tanya…..I think you’ve been way too dull and slow. I can feel it already…..This master likes you. What are you still waiting for?” Riley asked with a smile and Tanya looked at her.
“I don’t understand you Riley.” Tanya’s said.
“Do you want Krishna to be destroyed?” Riley asked and Tanya nodded immediately.
” If there’s something I need to do to make him go back to the hell he comes from….I’m very much ready to do it.” She replied.
“Then I need to possess you Tanya. That’s the only way we can achieve that.”
Tanya stared at Riley, speechless. This was the point where she needed to trust her best friend’s ghost who was initially sent to destroy her.
Should she risk her life by trusting her and letting her possess her??
