According to Marca, there is no chance Cristiano Ronaldo will return to Real Madrid this summer.
The 37-year-old forward is eager to leave Manchester United this summer in order to compete in the Champions League this season.
Ronaldo recently visited Madrid, sparking speculation that he would meet Real president Florentino Perez to discuss a return.
Ronaldo is also a Real Madrid legend, having scored 450 goals in 438 games for the club between 2009 and 2018, guiding them to four Champions League titles.
Ronaldo's first season at Old Trafford in his second spell did not go as planned; despite scoring 24 goals, United failed to compete for silverware and changed managers mid-season.
He is hesitant to play in the Europa League this season and wishes to leave Manchester United in order to play in the Champions League.
Chelsea, Bayern Munich, and Paris Saint-Germain are among the top European clubs that have ruled out a move for Ronaldo, while he has turned down a lucrative offer from a Saudi Arabian club.
It is unknown where Ronaldo will play football this season.

Todd Boehly's plans to sign Cristiano Ronaldo were vetoed by Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel.
According to AS (h/t Express), Todd Boehly agreed to terms with Jorge Mendes to bring Cristiano Ronaldo to Chelsea from Manchester United, but Thomas Tuchel was not keen on having the Portuguese superstar on his team.
Ronaldo has been the talk of the town for some time, with the Portuguese legend reportedly wanting to leave the Red Devils this summer. The 37-year-old wants to play Champions League football, and Chelsea could provide him with that opportunity.
Chelsea's new owners are looking to make a statement this transfer window, and Ronaldo came close to being the summer's statement signing. Tuchel, however, appears to have pulled the plug on the deal.
We require a proven goal scorer.
Ronaldo is a proven goal scorer, which the Blues desperately need. The goal of acquiring Romelu Lukaku from Inter Milan was to help him develop as a reliable goalscorer. The Belgian played well for the Nerazzurri, which is why Chelsea decided to bring him back.
However, Lukaku has been loaned back to Inter Milan, and we still lack a clinical striker in the squad. Due to a lack of quality center-backs, the Blues are now focusing on bringing in defensive targets.
Our attacking options include Timo Werner, Kai Havertz, Christian Pulisic, Callum Hudson-Odoi, and Hakim Ziyech, as well as new signing Raheem Sterling. We have a lot of potential but no one to capitalize on it.

Cristiano Ronaldo has a track record of scoring goals.
Lukaku was Chelsea's leading scorer last season. And he was underwhelming for the majority of the season. We no longer have a target man in front of us. Ronaldo is 37 years old and nearing the end of his career, but he is the all-time leading goalscorer in professional football.
