Raphael Varane insists he is pleased with his decision to join Manchester United from Real Madrid last summer.

Varane joined Manchester United from Real Madrid for £36 million last summer. While his previous club won the Spanish league and the Champions League, Manchester United finished sixth.

Varane played for Real Madrid for ten years, winning the UEFA Champions League four times and three La Liga titles.

When asked if he regretted leaving Real Madrid for Manchester United, Varane responded, "I think in football you have to challenge yourself and try to improve, and I wanted to live another experience after 10 years in the same place - so, no.

I think the Premier League is fantastic, and Manchester United is a fantastic club, so there was no question about my decision.

Varane's season was marred by injury, with the defender appearing in 28 games across all competitions.

"Obviously, I wanted to play a little bit more, but that's part of football, and we're looking forward to next season," he added. I believe confidence was important, and we lost confidence when we lost some games.

I believe there are many things we could do better, and we obviously want to improve for the upcoming season. I believe we require consistency and confidence building.

Real Madrid trained at UCLA on Thursday morning, with president Florentino Perez and Jose Angel Sanchez also in attendance.

The president was greeted warmly, signing autographs and posing with fans like the most popular players.

Fans thanked him for assisting the club in winning its 14th Champions League title. Others demanded the return of Cristiano Ronaldo, while others inquired about the failed attempt to sign Kylian Mbappe.

hints about the starting XI

Carlo Ancelotti and his staff continued to work with the players on the field. The lineup used in the small intrasquad match hinted at a possible lineup.

Courtois, Carvajal, Militao, Rudiger, Odriozola; Ceballos, Casemiro, Camavinga; Valverde, Benzema, and Vinicius did not wear bibs, as did Lunin, Lucas Vazquez, Nacho, Alaba, Mendy; Modric, Tchouameni, Kroos; Asensio, Hazard, and Rodrygo.

The two Castilla goalkeepers, Luis Lopez and Lucas Canizares, as well as Vinicius Tobias and Jesus Vallejo, were left out of the squad. They did, however, later rejoin the group.

The team will rest until 10:00 a.m. on Friday after the second training session of the day at 17:00. That will be the final test before Saturday's El Clasico in Las Vegas, in which all 28 players should be available barring any setbacks.
