Jurgen Klopp has given his verdict on Darwin Nunez, who has finally begun his Anfield career.
The Uruguayan had struggled in his previous two pre-season games, failing to score against Manchester United and Crystal Palace. However, after Nunez scored four goals against RB Leipzig, Klopp praised his forward, admitting that he may have felt pressured as a result of his big-money move, but that "that's the best way obviously to stop all these discussions.
He also stated that Nunez is "a different striker to what we have or had," implying that Klopp may believe he brings different qualities to his team than Sadio Mane did prior to his move to Bayern Munich.

Darwin Nunez took advantage of Roberto Firmino's opportunity to impress in the first team and potentially take the Brazilian's starting spot.
However, the Reds had plenty of winners in addition to star striker Nunez. Salah scored once again, and he will be hoping to continue his goal-scoring form this season.
And Harvey Elliot shone when he set up Nunez's hat-trick. Mirror Football has compiled a list of the night's winners and losers.
