The 2018 World Cup champion is reportedly contemplating his options at Bayern, according to the French site, which is supported by an L'Equipe story.
This comes after Bayern acquired Noussair Mazraoui from Ajax this summer on a free transfer.
Jonathan Clauss, who was just called up to the France team and is preparing to sign with Marseille, is putting pressure on Pavard to take over as the regular starting quarterback.

Ben Pavard has been associated with Manchester United.
Manchester United supporters should not get overexcited when a Bayern Munich player is linked to the club, as recent history has taught them. They typically conclude by agreeing to a new contract. Bastian Schweinsteiger was the lone player we did get, and he was long past his prime.
Despite being only 26 years old, Pavard has a lot to give. For Bayern past season, he made 24 league starts, but he only managed one assist.
He transferred from Lille to Stuttgart in his teen years, where he played for three seasons until joining Bayern in 2019.
At Bayern Munich, Pavard has a contract that runs through 2024. According to the report, United are keeping an eye on his position.

He is also capable of playing center back, however it seems less likely at Bayern now that Matthijs de Ligt has joined the squad and will likely partner Dayot Upamecano or Lucas Hernandez.

Pavard would only be necessary for United at right-back, where he would presumably take the place of Aaron Wan-Bissaka.
Diogo Dalot, who has been one of United's standout preseason performances, will not, however, easily cede the right-back position.
Although it doesn't appear like United will sign Pavard anytime soon, the club is still considering their alternatives at the position, and the defender is evaluating his own situation. If both parties are willing, something might happen later in the transfer window.
