Barcelona, ??July 22, 2022 (AFP) - Barcelona on Friday announced that they had sold 15 percent further from their La Liga television rights to the US Sixth Street investment group for the next 25 years.
The Catalan giant has sold 10 percent of their TV league rights to the same group last week for € 207.5 million.
"In total, Sixth Street will receive 25 percent of the La Liga Club television rights for the next 25 years," Barca said in a statement.
The club did not say how many they had been paid for an additional 15 percent, but the Spanish press report placed around € 400 million.
The agreement will help European champions five times continue to make new signing for next season after the arrival of Robert Lewandowski and Raphinha.
Barcelona has tried hard to increase capital after struggling financially in recent years.
Last August, Joan Laporta, who returned as President of Barcelona in November, said the audit had revealed the total debt of the club € 1.35 billion.

Welterweights Khamzat Chimaev and Nate Diaz have verbally agreed to square off in the UFC 279 main event on Sept. 10 in Las Vegas, UFC executive Hunter Campbell told ESPN's Brett Okamoto.
