Dutch manager Mark Parsons is determined to leave a sign on the field in Euro 2022 to match the impact of Dutch fans who have changed the stadium in the England Orange.

Thousands of supporters have helped break the attendance record for group stage matches in the euro of women who did not involve the host country twice during the tournament.

The crowd 22,596 witnessed the holder to defeat Switzerland 4-1 on Sunday, but they needed a busy goal to ensure their place in the knockout stage.

Parsons must overcome the loss of Captain Sari Van Veenendaal and a former UEFA female player of the year Lieke Martens for the rest of the tournament and must turn after Vivianne Miedema and Jackie Groenen are tested positive for Coronavirus.

Miedema returned to training on Wednesday and Arsenal striker, who was considered by many people as the best player in women's games, could play an important role in the quarter -finals on Saturday against France.

Les Bleues has become one of the prominent sides of the tournament so far in England.

France scored five goals in the first half of their 5-1 victory against Italy before securing the top position in Group D with a 2-1 win over Belgium.

However, running 16 matches ended with the final Icelandic equalizer in a 1-1 draw to conclude the group stage on Monday.

Parsons was present for the match at Manchester and believed he was enough to see to suggest the Netherlands it would cause a side problem of Corinne Diacre.

"Everyone has decided that France will win this match and we are there to help sell some tickets," Parsons told reporters on Wednesday.

"This is an interesting situation for France because this is the first time they are interesting after winning 16. It will be interesting (how they react)."

Miedema in training

Miedema missed the Dutch victory over Portugal and Switzerland after winning the match in a 1-1 draw against Sweden to open their campaign.

The top scorer of all time in the history of the Dutch male or female national team hopes that he can win his fitness on time for the Saturday match in Rotherham.

"There are three important steps - today only one," Parsons said.

"Once we undergo training today, tomorrow and Friday we will be able to make a decision whether he can play."

France defeated the Netherlands 3-1 when the team met at Tourningo de France in February.

But Parsons hopes that the nature of attacking France can play in the hands of his team if Miedema is suitable to lead the line.

"France is a top team, top players, very consistent in the way they play," he said. "We played it in February and spy in them because of the quarter -finals.

"They have a lot of speed and strength. They are dynamic not only athletic but they are dynamic in the way they play. They have good communication when to run.
