Dele's POV
My lawyer arrived in no time and we settled down to business.
"My client here said your client is responsible for her pregnancy meanwhile your client kept on denying the fact that he knew her"her lawyer said facing my lawyer while she nodded
"but my client denied ever knowing her,how is it possible for him to impregnate someone without recognizing the person he made out with,it sounds absurd"my lawyer retaliated
"My client was drunk!,and he took advantage of her"
"I think we a DNA test will prove better"my lawyer said and I froze on my seat,my worst fear,a DNA test!
"I and my client will provide the hospital where the test will take place,I don't trust neither you nor your client.....Deal?"
"Deal"my lawyer said accepting the handshake.
Myer's POV
I never knew Essie's plan could work out that way,she acted like a trained lawyer in there and I couldn't help but keep smiling......we would be going for the DNA test in the same hospital I went to for my pregnancy test the following day.
The two lawyers both scheduled 10:00am to meet at the hospital.
Essie's POV
Acting as a lawyer in there wasn't an easy task,I was nervous as the opposition lawyer kept tackling me with questions but I'm glad I did my part as a friend☺.
THE NEXT DAY🌝🌝
Myer's POV
I woke up lazily as I yawned and tossed on the bed before I remember I had an appointment.
"jeez"I screamed as I rushed out
Essie is already in the kitchen preparing breakfast for the both of us.
"why didn't you wake me up"I inquired feigning anger
"its just 8:00am Myer,we still have two more hours.
"we still have two more hours,nonsense"I mimicked and left for the bathroom hissing.
We got to the hospital a little before ten and not long after,Dele also drove in with his lawyer.
All eyes were on him as we all walked into the hospital's premises...he is cute indeed.
The doctor ran a DNA test and told us to wait a little while the result is being processed and I and Essie decided to take a walk around the hospital.
"Myer,are you sure he is responsible for your pregnancy,I mean you were drunk"Essie said and my countenance changed.
"Essie,I'm not daft to the extent of not recognizing the man who got me pregnant even if I was drunk"I said angrily and left her presence........
I was walking alone when I walked into Dele
"Hi"he greeted
"hi"I responded rolling my eyes
"um...can we talk"he requested when Essie walked towards us
"Hey mister,you are not allowed to talk to my client"she said and dragged me away.

The test came out positively and Dele accepted to take responsibility of the unborn child but begged Myer not to involve the press so as not to ruin his reputation and that of his company.
Dele discovered the affection he has for Myer and he resolved to let her know on time,he invites her to his house and both of them spends many moments together but Myer insisted she's doing everything for the sake of her unborn child.
