Ghana and AS Roma Youngster Felix Afena-Gyan has been reportedly linked to a move to English premier league side Crystal Palace.
According to reports, English premier league club Crystal Palace have been linked with a move for AS Roma and Ghana youngster, Felix Afena-Gyan.
The young Ghanaian forward recently extended his contract with Italian giants AS Roma after successful negotiations with officials of the club. In the 2021/2022 campaign, Felix Afena-Gyan made twenty-two apparances and scored two goals after making his first debut last October.
Unconfirmed reports from Italy have indicated that the eagles are considering a €12m (£10.2m) bid for the 19-year-old Ghanaian forward who sprung into the football space under Jose Mourinho in the 2021/2022 season at AS Roma.
Earlier this month, renewed football journalist, Gianiucadi Marzio suggested Crystal Palace were interested in getting the signature of Felix Afena-Gyan to play for the club. AS Roma were reportedly also interested in Zane as well and Felix Afena-Gyan was considered in a potential exchange deal for the former Manchester United man. Zane's agent recently offered the Giallaorososi a chance to sign the player in the transfer season.
Felix Afena-Gyan made his maiden appearance at the Black Stars in March, featuring in the Ghana Black Stars qualification match against Nigeria earlier this year. The Black Stars qualified for the FIFA World Cup after a two playoff games in Kumasi and Nigeria with an all draw games.
The World Cup is expected to be held in Qatar in November. The Black Stars of Ghana have been paired with Portugal, South Korea and Uruguay.
Felix Afena-Gyan, Mohammed Kudus, Antoine Semenyo, Andre Dede Ayew, Inaki Williams and other players are expected to lead Ghana's attack for the tournament in November.
Felix Afena-Gyan hails from the Brong Ahafo area of the West African country called Ghana and has leapfrogged to prominence in world football.
