The development comes after new arrival Sebastien Haller was diagnosed with a testicular tumour earlier this week, which will keep him out for an indefinite period. Haller had joined Dortmund earlier this summer for €36 million after recording 34 goals and nine assists in 42 matches across all competitions for Ajax last term. The 22-year-old Frenchman's contract will expire in 2023 and he has made the German club aware that he has no plans of renewing, meaning Milan see Eintracht's demand for a transfer fee of between €15m and €20m as excessive. 20.58 BST: Fabrizio Romano reports that Monza are interested in signing Real Betis midfielder William Carvalho, although it is added that an official bid has not yet been made. United have completed the signing of 29-year-old midfielder Ravel Morrisson on a free transfer.
