Chelsea 2022/23 Potential Squad Depth If They Are Able To Sign Joules Kounde This Summer
Chelsea is currently rebuilding their squad after losing two finals to Liverpool last season. So far this summer, the Blues have signed two world-class players and are still hoping to recruit at least two more before the transfer window ends.Chelsea are close to signing Joules Kounde from Sevilla this summer, according to reports, after Barcelona dropped out due to Sevilla's exorbitant demands for the French professional defender. As a result, I decided to write this essay to show the Blues' potential squad depth in 2022/23 if they are able to sign Joules Kounde this summer.
A. Goalkeeper - With Kepa due to depart the club on loan this summer, Edouard Mendy and Slonina will rotate in goal for Thomas Tuchel next season. While Mendy will compete in important events, Slonina will compete in less competitive tournaments/matches.
B. Defenders - The team's defender positions would be rotated by Joules Kounde, Thiago Silva, Chalobah, Kalidou Koulibaly, Sarr, Reece James, Hudson-Odoi, Ben Chilwell, and Kennedy next season.
Jorginho, Ngolo Kante, Kovacic, Gallagher, and Loftus-Cheek are the midfielders.
D. Attackers - Raheem Sterling, Timo Werner, Kai Havertz, Broja, Mason Mount, and Christian Pulisic would be the team's attacking frontline leaders. For further information, please see the image below.
Due to recent transfer rumors, Hakim Ziyech, Cesar Azpilicueta, Michy Batshuayi, and Marcos Alonso did not appear on the expected squad depth mentioned above.

Cristiano Ronaldo In Limbo As Europe's Elite Turn Their Backs On Manchester United Star
Cristiano Ronaldo's iconic position at Manchester United, earned during his trophy-laden first stay with the club, has also faded.
Cristiano Ronaldo's Future Is Uncertain As Europe's Elite Turn Away From Manchester United's Star
Cristiano Ronaldo's future is unknown after his attempt to force his way out of Manchester United failed to generate the expected rush for his signature. The Portugal legend stunned United earlier this month when he announced his intention to leave the club following the team's failure to qualify for the Champions League. Ronaldo would have expected a slew of major teams to compete for his services. However, for the first time in his sparkling career, he appears to have lost favor with Europe's wealthy elite, as Chelsea, Bayern Munich, Barcelona, and Paris Saint-Germain all look to have turned their backs on the forward.
Concerns over Ronaldo's decreased work rate, as well as his notoriously demanding nature, have put the 37-year-old in limbo.
Chelsea co-owner Todd Boehly is said to have discussed a deal with Ronaldo's agent Jorge Mendes to celebrate the start of a new era at Stamford Bridge. However, Blues manager Thomas Tuchel is said to be concerned about integrating Ronaldo into his plans for a fluid front three after signing Raheem Sterling from Manchester City.
When asked about Ronaldo, Tuchel responded, "We focused on our top priority Raheem Sterling, who we signed, and everything else stays behind closed doors."
Selling Robert Lewandowski to Barcelona could have freed up space for Ronaldo at Bayern, but the German champions' CEO Oliver Kahn said no.
