Mikel Arteta has affirmed new £32million left-back Oleksandr Zinchenko is in line to make his Arsenal debut against Chelsea.
The flexible 25-year-old, who quit Manchester City 's USA visit to finish the move, is here in Florida for the Gunners' pre-season cordial, which starts off at 1am Sunday morning UK time.
Arteta said: "He will prepare, he's permitted to prepare and in the event that he feels better, perhaps tomorrow he has a few minutes.
"We'll go with that choice yet I console you that the player will be pushing to play a few minutes."
Zinchenko - who has shared a picture of him as a youth wearing an Arsenal shirt on his Instagram account subsequent to finishing the move - said: "I'm here to accomplish enormous things and I genuinely want to believe that we can bring home a few championships.
