Chelsea announce a formal agreement

Tino Anjorin will be returning to Huddersfield Town on loan, where he spent the second half of the previous campaign, according to a statement from Chelsea.

Midway through 2021–2022, the 20-year-old offensive midfielder transferred from a loan at Lokomotiv Moscow of Russia to the Championship. He made eight appearances for the Yorkshire club, all as a substitute, and in a crucial match against Coventry that helped the team advance to the promotion play-offs, he scored the game-winning penalty. He comes back in search of more playing time.

Chelsea contacts the French winger

The Athletic reports that Chelsea has inquired about the availability of Newcastle and France winger Allan Saint-Maximin.

The Frenchman also interests Tottenham,but neither of the London clubs will be willing to meet the Magpies' £40 million ($48m) asking price.

Chelsea could try and negotiate a cut-price fee with Newcastle, though, as Thomas Tuchel seeks to add greater depth to his attacking ranks.
