More than two years into Pandemi, because video calls have taken over the workspace, Google Meet now launches the ability to have a direct meeting on YouTube, which can open it for viewers more easily than the old way of the event directly through the Meet itself. Admin Google Workplace can choose public streaming for the business accounts they manage, which also includes several fences to ensure your weekly standup does not turn into an open mic
This feature is available for most workplace accounts paid: company level (starter, standard, and plus), plus education, improvement of teaching and learning, and individual customers in the workplace, as well as members of the Google One Premium Package in certain countries. However, people in most starter packages, basic, inheritance, or important, do not have access.

This feature requires your YouTube channel to connect to the ongoing meeting. Participants who are connected YouTube channels are people who start streaming directly from the meeting.
If host management is not active: anyone in the host organization can start streaming directly.
If HOST MANAGEMENT is active: Only hosts and co-hosts can start streaming directly.
Tips: For a smooth experience, it is recommended that you promote participants to co-hosts who want to start streaming directly.
