Legendary ghanaian highlife musician better known as “Amakye Dede” or “Serious” has made some statements concerning productions of his old album and new ones provided he wants to release one.
He says if he has to work on an album even in recent times, he will have to work with producers from Germany who he has over the years worked with.
Amakye Dede made this known when he spoke to Nana Aba Anamoah in an interview on Accra-based Starr FM.
“Why not, I will still go to Germany. Well Ghanaians are doing well nowadays but for me, if I want to come out I will still go to Germany,” he said. When Nana Aba Anamoah told him of the advancement in Ghana he insisted that “no, no, I won’t do that”.
Abrantie Amakye Dede said he is trying to do songs with the young artists in Ghana indicating that he will soon release a song that features one of the best young artists.
The legendary Amakye Dede indicated that music lovers mustn’t pressurize musicians to release songs because it takes a lot to produce quality music.

Reigning VGMA Songwriter of the year, Peter Fameyeh Bozah, aka Fameye has made certain controversial claims on his recent media tours that have sparked conversations amongst fans and listeners alike.
He has disclosed he did menial jobs including clearing rubbish from people’s homes as a means to make a livelihood.
Speaking on DayBreak on Hitz on Hitz FM, the artiste also mentioned that he used to fetch water for the Kwabenya Police Station detainees to flush the toilet when they defecated.
“I won’t go back to where I used to be but I will remember where I used to be. Anyone who lives at Kwabenya, Mosuku, or Ashongman Estate will know that I’m not lying about certain things I used to do before.
“Kwabenya East Police post, I used to fetch water for people there to flush toilets when they make an arrest. I was the one who planted the lawns and painted the place. I weed the whole community. Everyone knows that I am hardworking,” he said.
