Tottenham manager Antonio Conte has blamed Bayern Munich for being "discourteous" by freely announcing their interest in Harry Kane.
Bayern director Julian Nagelsmann has conceded he couldn't want anything more than to sign Kane and has would not preclude a move for the Spurs striker.
The German giants are keeping watch for a swap for Robert Lewandowski and their CEO Oliver Kahn uncovered this present week that it would be a "fantasy" to sign Kane.
Talking after the Spurs beat Rangers 2-1 in a pre-season friendly at Ibrox on Saturday, Conte said: "Truly I didn't hear this. Without a doubt, I'm a coach that doesn't talk about players from another team.
"The circumstance is exceptionally clear at Tottenham and Harry is a vital piece of the project.
"Just reports yet I could do without to discuss players from another club. To accomplish something I don't do it through the media.
"Perhaps that is a piece insolent for the other club."
Tottenham made it clear the previous summer that Kane was not available to be purchased in the midst of interest from Manchester City and Nagelsmann concedes Bayern is probably going to be evaluated out of a quick move.
However, the England captain is in the last two years of his contract at Tottenham.
There was a report in May that Kane is happy at Tottenham and open to signing another contract with the club.
The public interest from Bayern could squeeze Spurs into discussing another contract. Tottenham has already made more than 4 signings and still sign any striker because they knew Harry Kane will stay and lead their attack for them.
Hatty Kane will not make a move this summer because he has already opened up about his friendship with current manager Antonio Conte and how he is ready to work with him.
