Thomas Tuchel says Chelsea has such a large number of players who aren't committed subsequent to experiencing a shock 4-0 loss to Arsenal - meaning they won't probably be prepared for the upcoming season.
The Blues have just offloaded Romelu Lukaku this summer and have a few different players with question marks over their future.
Talking from the Camping World Stadium in Orlando, the Blues supervisor talked about his interests going into the new season.
"I'm nowhere near loose. I think we had the right to lose - which is all good - on the grounds that we were just not sufficient," Tuchel said in Florida.
"We were in no way, shape, or form seriously. The stressing part is the degree of responsibility, genuinely and intellectually, for this match was not something very similar, it was far higher for Arsenal than for us.
"We can contend they played with I think their most grounded line-up; they've had now together half a month and for over one year. They've reinforced their line-up, played a similar structure, and this is the line-up they'll attempt to begin Premier League games.
"It was not our strongest lineup and this is essential for clarification yet just a little part. The other part is stressing. I can not ensure [we will be prepared for next season].
"I saw today a team in Arsenal who are intellectually dedicated to a thought of playing, a degree of depletion, a degree of actual responsibility that we were unable to coordinate.
"Likewise, a level of mental responsibility that we needed on the grounds that we have a ton of players who are thinking about leaving and checking their choices out. We have players that have left and I think right now that is self-evident.
He adds: "Tragically, it made my statement and the last week makes my statement [about the requirement for new signings]. I would like to not be correct and I did all that to substantiate myself wrong, yet right now I believe I was correct when I take a gander at the last season and at the pieces of the game where we battled and how we battled.
"We got authorized and players left us, we realize that a few players are attempting to leave us, and this is where it is. We had a pressing interest for quality players and an immense measure of value players. We have two quality players - that is no question - except for we are not serious like this and tragically, we could see it today."
Timo Werner, Cesar Azpilicueta, and Marcos Alonso are among players with inquiries over his future.
Nonetheless, Kalidou Koulibaly made his presentation and was one of the better entertainers.
"He was the best player on the pitch for us," he proceeded. "On a night where nothing felt better, this felt very good."Tuchel and his crew have a short-term trip to the UK and will restart preparing at Cobham on Tuesday.
He will probably be chipping away at that excursion back to London with work to do on fixing his side.
"We fly home now and we have one-and-a-half days in particular, on Tuesday we want to introduce arrangements, we really want to introduce activities," he proceeded. "Me and the training staff, along with the group, need to move forward and find a way through this since it harms right now."
