Mohammed Kudus has "charmed" him, according to the new Ajax boss.

Mohammed Kudus has charmed Ajax manager Alfred Schreuder with his mindboggling intuitive display at the club, according to Schreuder.

The new manager has hinted that the former Nordsjaelland striker will be used upfront this season.

The Black Stars' midfield was sidelined by injuries for the majority of last season, allowing Ajax to win the league title.

Last season, he appeared in 22 games and scored one goal for Ajax under Ten Hag.

The 21-year-old has recovered completely and scored in the team's preseason game against RB Salzburg.

According to Alfred Schreuder, Mohammed Kudus has charmed him with his intuitive performance and insists on being stronger and faster.

He can play as a striker up front, as well as on the right and left flanks. 'Don't start thinking, oh dear, the trainer no longer sees me as a midfielder,' I told him. That is not the case, he told VI news.

But he immediately captivates me. "He's a very interesting attacker for Ajax because he plays very intuitively," he explained.

"That is extremely difficult to play against as a defender." He is strong, fast, and does unexpected things.

On Sunday morning in Las Vegas, German international Antonio Rudiger made his unofficial Real Madrid debut in their 1-0 loss to Barcelona.

In this game, Robert Lewandowski made his Barcelona debut, and Raphinha scored the game's lone goal in the 27th minute after intercepting a misplaced ball from Real Madrid's Eder Militao. The El Clasico was the first of three preseason games in the United States for Real Madrid.

Rudiger, 29, was given a starting spot by Carlo Ancelotti and played 45 minutes before being taken off at halftime. Surprisingly, the tough defender was used at left-back, where Ancelotti tried him out in practice on Friday. He played left center back in a back three at Chelsea, but that is not his primary position.

"The idea for [David] Alaba and Rudiger was to switch positions during the match, and they will do so again," Carlo Ancelotti said in his post-match interview.

Alaba will only play left back if necessary."

According to what Ancelotti told the media, Rudiger will play a hybrid role at Real Madrid. When necessary, the former Chelsea defender will switch from centre-back to left-back, and Alaba will do the same. The El Clasico was the first of three preseason games in the United States for Real Madrid. The Spanish champions will also face Club America before concluding their tour against Juventus next week.
