Real Madrid were defeated 1-0 by Barcelona in their first preseason friendly in Las Vegas. Overall, the Merengues had a decent second half and did not have the worst night possible.
However, our first-half performance cost us the game. And our midfield was our weakest link.
Aurelien Tchouameni, Fede Valverde, and Eduardo Camavinga, the midfield trio, clearly lack understanding. They were unable to withstand the constant pressure applied by the Catalans, and Madrid spent the majority of the first 45 minutes without possession of the ball.
Here's an example of Camavinga's error nearly resulting in a goal.
Furthermore, we can't say that this midfield trio was particularly creative. Valverde hit the crossbar with a long shot, but that was more of a lucky break than anything else.
The coach introduced Casemiro, Toni Kroos, and Luka Modric in the second half. Madrid then regained possession of the ball and created several chances from midfield. However, the finishing was poor.

Madrid fans had to hold their breath while watching this video of Rudiger going all in during today's training session. Rudiger overreached in a simple rondo, striking Hazard in the ankle. The wheels are in motion, and everyone is working hard to ensure that Real Madrid wins La Liga.
The German center-back went too hard into the ankle of his teammate, who cried out in pain after noticing how his foot buckled in a seemingly harmless rondo; however, it was all clean, and Rudiger did not intend to cause any problems during the preliminary training session in preparation for Las Vegas.
Everything appeared to be fine in the end, and it was just a scare for Hazard, who rejoined the rondo, but he did not finish the preparatory session until the end.
Fans are waiting for confirmation of his participation in the Las Vegas Classic due to obvious circumstances; however, with just over 24 hours to go, fans will know soon enough.
Ronaldo will be 38 years old in February, and while he has achieved good individual numbers, he has had a fairly poor season since rejoining Manchester United. Second halves were never good, and this has been proven again.
Meanwhile, with news of Ronaldo's intention to look for a team where his performance can lead to great achievements, he visited Madrid, clearly leaving fans hoping that he would reconsider joining Real Madrid's lineup.
The striker's recent two-day stay in Madrid sparked rumors, but no meetings have taken place. CR7 is looking for a new home, but it will not be at the Bernabeu or in Munich, as this newspaper previously reported. Bayern's board of directors has been extremely supportive.
