Street cost crossing out strategy has not changed - Deputy Roads Minister

Delegate Minister of Roads and Highways, Stephen Jalula has cleared up that the public authority's approach for drop assortment of street cost stays in force.

His clarification comes on the rear of the Finance Minister's declaration that the Accra-Tema Motorway will be rung after the recovery and augmentation project is finished.

"The Government of Ghana will give financing through GIIF to take value in the Special Purpose Vehicle to be made by GIIF for the venture," Mr. Ofori-Atta referenced.

Talking in a meeting with JoyNews on Monday, the Deputy Minister said any choice to once again introduce street cost will be laid before Parliament for additional activity.

He stressed that the declaration by the Finance Minister doesn't have any significant bearing to all streets.
