Liverpool is keeping an eye on Inaki Williams' 20-year-old brother, who has a lot of potential.

Liverpool are apparently monitoring Nico Williams, Inaki Williams' younger brother and Athletic Bilbao winger.

This information comes from Spanish outlet AS (via Sport Witness), albeit the magazine does state that the Reds have no intention of making an offer during the current summer window.

It's good news for management at the Spanish club, though there's an expectation that the forward may garner more attention if he continues to put in good performances for the club this season.

The Spaniard, who plays primarily on the right side but can also play on the left, has the appearance of a potential heir to Mo Salah's role, which is unlikely to be relinquished on a regular basis until beyond the summer of 2025 if a new contract is not agreed upon.

Keeping the Egyptian beyond that point would, of course, be a big departure from our norm, given the priority our owners and Jurgen Klopp have on developing new talent.

As a result, we wouldn't be surprised to learn that the recruitment team has begun looking for a good candidate to give over the baton to our Egyptian King.

For the time being, we'd like nothing more than to enjoy the three years in which we know Salah will play a critical part.
