The arrested suspect who resides in Yenagoa, the state capital was arrested during a clearance operation at Otiotio Road.
A 27-year-old armed robbery suspect who is on the wanted list of the command for various armed robbery cases in Yenagoa and environs has been apprehended by Operatives of the Anti-kidnapping unit, Bayelsa State Command.
The police gave the suspect’s name as Keme Azorobor, a native of Bomadi Local Government Area, Delta State.
The arrested suspect who resides in Yenagoa, the state capital was arrested during a clearance operation at Otiotio Road, Yenagoa on 24th July 2022, at about 2345 hours.
The police recovered a locally made pistol loaded with one live cartridge from him.
The statement issued by the state Police Public Relations Officer, SP Asinim Butswat, said the suspect has confessed to the level of his involvement in various armed robbery cases by him and his cohorts, now at large.
The statement also noted investigations are ongoing to arrest his gang members and bring them to book.

According to the report, another $3 million set of shares was moved from the billionaire’s investment vehicle, Cascade Investment L.L.C to Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. Despite all his distribution of wealth, the billionaire is still among the top 5 billionaires in the world.
Last week in a post on Twitter, the billionaire pledged to give $20 billion to the charitable foundation this month alone and went further to say that he intends to give away virtually all of his wealth in the future.
