BAYERN DEFENDER EMERGERS ON MAN UTD RADAR
Manchester United have joined the race to sign Bayern Munich defender Benjamin Pavard, while Thursday’s Euro Transfer Gossip claims that both West Ham and Everton are in the hunt to land a former United winger. BAYERN DEFENDER EMERGERS ON MAN UTD RADAR Manchester United have reportedly added Bayern Munich defender Benjamin Pavard to ‘their recruitment list’ this summer. The France international has a wealth of experience, having made 119 appearances for the Bundesliga giants after joining them from Stuttgart for £31.5million in 2019. However, L’Equipe (via Sport Witness) claims that the 26-year-old is currently considering his future. The report adds that Pavard wants to feature more at centre-back, having spent much of his Bayern career at right-back or wing-back. That has led to rumours of Chelsea, Atletico Madrid and Juventus all showing an interest. But L’Equipe now states that United ‘have indicated’ they are ready to join the race for his signature. There is also the possibility that Pavard extends his stay in Munich, with his current deal running out in 2024.
