TRANSFER RUMORS: CHELSEA SEEKS TO STOP THE BARCELONA INVASION FROM CONTINUING.

Barcelona has been paying careful attention to the Blues' summer transfer activity, much like Ander Herrera and Eden Hazard's historic run-in at Old Trafford in 2017 when Chelsea played Manchester United.

In fact, the Spanish giants appear to have made fun of Raphinha and Jules Kounde, two of Thomas Tuchel's key goals.

If Barcelona wasn't able to buy Robert Lewandowski from Bayern Munich, Chelsea was also interested in doing so, but it didn't work out that way.

After joining his new squad and teammates during preseason, the Polish striker has since voiced his happiness.

Following FC Barcelona's acquisition of Sevilla defender Jules Kounde, Chelsea are reportedly planning to stop both Cesar Azpilicueta and Marcos Alonso from leaving the club for the Catalan giants this summer.

In response to Barca's willingness to outbid them for Kounde's contract, the Blues reportedly don't want to let any of these defenders depart.

Even if Kalidou Koulibaly and Raheem Sterling were acquired by Chelsea's new owner Todd Boehly, the summer has not been easy for Chelsea.

Frustration of Thomas Tuchel

It could be a good idea to try and keep seasoned players like Azpilicueta and Alonso at the Stamford Bridge team as it appears their lack of a sporting director is affecting them as they struggle to close more transactions.

Barcelona is acquiring all the players Thomas Tuchel is interested in, which is making things difficult for him.

He stated last week that he is aware of Azpilicueta's desire to depart but is unsure of whether to grant it.

Chelsea are now more vigilant and willing to do whatever it takes to stop FC Barcelona from getting another hit since FC Barcelona pulled them out of the Koude deal.

Should Chelsea defend their club's interests no matter what, or should they let Marcos Alonso and Azpilicueta pursue their desire to play for Xavi's Barcelona?
