A strategy examiner, Dr Wereko-Brobbey says the Finance Minister's declaration of ringing new street projects under Public Private Partnership (PPP) is a diversionary strategy.
As per him, the declaration just implies that the public authority expects to once again introduce ringing in the country.
Dr. Wereko-Brobbey demanded that a particular venture to initiate the plan may not actually be finished under this organization.
He requested that the public authority come clear on the issue. "The issue about cost for me, the manner in which I read it was very nearly only aim to ringing on the grounds that the particular task that was referenced [Accra-Tema motorway] I don't completely accept that will try and be acknowledged in the two and half years surviving from NPP's term in light of the fact that as per the priest acquirement has now begun and when it completes Parliament will be on break till October."
"So I couldn't see the entire situation going to Parliament until perhaps the year's end before project workers prepare and set up. So I think it was a diversionary assertion." Dr. Wereko-Brobbey spread the word about this when he talked on Joy FM's Super Morning Show on Wednesday, July 27.
In the mean time, the Government has proactively excused claims it expects to once again introduce street tolls in the nation in the wake of suspending same.
The public authority through the Roads Ministry said it will utilize creative means to fund street projects in the country to improve the motoring public. "The Ministry wishes to state completely that the public authority has not restored cost assortment the nation over.
