Paul Pogba worries that if he must undergo knee surgery, he might not make it to the World Cup.
After suffering an injury during pre-season training in America last week, the Juventus midfielder was recently found to have a sore of the parallel meniscus in his right knee.
Following a knee injury, Paul Pogba is currently concerned about his fitness.
Pogba recently travelled back to Italy to examine the injury further rather than undergoing a treatment in the US.
Additionally, as reported by La Gazetta dello Sport, the former Manchester United player is currently deciding which of the two available medical procedures is the best course of action.
Pogba may decide to remove a portion of the meniscus and take a break for "40 to 60 days."
In any case, the projected drawback with such activity is that his knee's mobility might be reduced because the system typically performs better on younger players.
Stitching of the sore is the second medical operation available to people worldwide in France.
If he pursues that path, he may be out for up to FIVE MONTHS, which would be significant because he would miss Qatar 2022.
Pogba will undoubtedly discuss his options with the clinical group of the French public group before deciding.
Pogba, 29, just re-joined Juventus after his contract with Manchester United expired.
A club resolution stated: "There is typically some hope that we may run into each other again someday when we say goodbye after a wonderful experience spent separately.
"That was very much the case with Paul. In 2016, after four mind-blowing years, we became isolated.
"Years passed between the time that this young Frenchman, who was only 20 years old, made his presentation to the First Team and the time that he scored his most memorable goal.
"Years where we mastered the ability to hold our breath whenever we witnessed him load the shot from the outside: we knew how it could end, and it typically ended in a thunder of joy.
"Years in which Pogba transformed into an insane manager, winning a ton while operating at a profit and wearing a white pullover, contacting the Champions League in 2015, giving 12 assists just in his final season in Turin, leaving with a plunder of 34 markings, to which to add the excellence of 32 helps, for a sum of 66 objectives.
The statement continued: "We said goodbye at that point, and in the interim, he confirmed his strength and skill by helping France win the World Championship in 2018.
"We said goodbye, but we were never fully abandoned because the cry of home is tribal in nature and will finally reappear after 1,000 endeavors.
There is one thing that has not changed, even though Paul is back in Turin after having left when he was a little child: the need to write more new spectacular pages with others.
We couldn't be happier that Pogba is back with us.
