Real Madrid goalkeeper, Thibaut Courtois has revealed what Eden Hazard did immediately after Antonio Rudiger kicked him during the team’s pre-season training.
According to Courtois, Hazard got up and started laughing after Rudiger kicked him during Real Madrid’s training.
The former Chelsea shot-stopper said this after Real Madrid lost 1-0 against Barcelona in a pre-season El Clasico friendly tie in Las Vegas on Sunday.
The Belgium goalkeeper also expressed confidence that his fellow compatriot Hazard can bring a lot to Real Madrid this year.
“It depends on where the coach puts him [Hazard],” Courtois told reporters at his post-match press conference after the El Clasico match.
“In Belgium, he plays in 3-4-3 and as an inside player, not as a striker. So, it depends.
“He’s doing very well. He’s only been training for a week, but I’m sure he can bring a lot to the team.
“We’ll have to see when Karim [Benzema] comes back how we can put the team together with Eden.
“These are questions for the coach.
“His injuries are in the past. The other day [Antonio] Rudiger kicked him [in training] and he got up [laughs]”.
