A 40-year-old man butchers his girlfriend for denying him sex.
After his lover refused to be intimate with him, a 40-year-old man slashed him in several places.
According to Angelonline.com.gh, the two have been cohabiting for some time despite the fact that they are not married.
According to the victim's brother, Kwabena Marfo, the suspect is a farmer who began dating his sister, Yaa Attaa, who is also 40 years old, about six months ago in Kwahu Bepong.
In an interview with Angel FM's Anopa Bofo Morning Show's Kofi Adoma Nwanwani, he stated that the lady explained to her partner that she could not consent to sex because she was tired at the time of the request.
He went on to say that his sister later agreed to her boyfriend's demands after resting for a while, but he didn't say anything and attacked her with a knife.
"She is his [the suspect's] girlfriend, and he has promised to marry her." The lady stated that her boyfriend requested sex, to which she responded that she was exhausted. He replied angrily that he wouldn't do it anymore and went for a cutlass and started slashing her all over," Mr Marfo explained.
He related how Yaa Attaa's children raised an alarm, attracting the attention of a woman who came to her rescue.
"A woman came to help, but she fled for her life when he tried to attack her with the cutlass as well." So she ran and yelled for men, but by the time they arrived, the suspect had escaped. They took my sister to the hospital..."

"He was lying in front of a house and was rescued and taken to the hospital," he added.
Kwabena Marfo revealed that the suspect is currently in police custody, but his sister has yet to recover.
