For tactical considerations, ERIK TEN HAG has asked Manchester United to switch the home and away holes for the first time in 30 years.

The new manager is exerting more influence over the organization and making adjustments in an effort to move the Red Devils up the Premier League standings.

Erik ten Hag is well regarded for being meticulous, and he hasn't been afraid to make changes at his new team.

In his most recent adjustment, the team mandated that he and the substitutes sit in a different location in the bunker.

They will be sitting in the seats that the away teams occupied last season, with visitors currently occupying the other seats.

In order for United to be seated closer to the passage and to "the normal finish of the home help," Ten Hag rolled out the changes.

When he and United football chief John Murtough visited the arena in May, it was then that he first recognized the improvements that could be done.

The progressions will be prepared for Sunday's game versus Rayo Vallecano of Spain.

Brighton will also be the primary Premier League visitors to experience the new strategy after seven days.

According to a club statement, the home and away holes have been permanently switched, thus the United manager, staff, and substitutes will currently be seated in the seats to the west of the midway line, the burrow that was most recently used by the away team.

"After visiting Old Trafford for the first time in May and observing how the old away dugout was closer to the entrance and the area of the field where substitutes warm up, Erik backed the change.

The home staff and players will be placed closer to the Stretford End, the traditional center of the home crowd, and the holes will be adjusted to the areas of the crowd where the home and away teams warm up prior to the game.

It is the cautious manager's most recent adjustment in an effort to mold the team into his vision.

It was discovered in June that he asked the grounds crew to cut the grass to exactly 15mm.

He has also implemented adjustments at feasts, such as prohibiting cell phones and forcing players to eat together.

Former United defender Daley Blind, who competed for Ajax under ten Hag, advised the current crop of Red Devils to be cautious and not take any unnecessary risks.
