Centre-backs Who Changed Clubs In The 2022/23 Summer Transfer Window

Many centre-backs changed teams during the summer transfer window of 2022. The majority of these defenders joined a new club as free agents, although some of Europe's elite clubs spent a fortune to sign centre-backs this summer. This summer's best center-back is Matthijs Delight. Bayern Munich paid Juventus 67 million Euros to sign him. Barcelona, on the other hand, has just added to their roster. Jules Kounde was signed from Sevilla for 50 million Euros.

 

Furthermore, Diego Carlos, who is worth 40 million Euros, has transferred from Sevilla to Aston Villa for 31 million Euros.

Antonio Rudiger, Andreas Christensen, and Niklas Sule are three free agents who have transferred clubs. These are some of the most valuable center-backs who switched teams during the summer transfer window. Furthermore, Bremer joined Juventus for a fee of 41 million Euros, replacing Matthijs de Ligt, who left the club this summer.Sven Botman, Merih Demiral, Lisandro Martinez, and Kalidou Koulibaly are among the other top ten centre-backs. The majority of these defenders were signed for more than 30 million Euros. Only Lisandro Martinez, Jules Kounde, and Matthijs de Ligt, however, were signed for 50 million Euros or more. Cristiano Ronaldo reveals when he will finally play for Manchester United

Cristiano Ronaldo has revealed when he will make his Manchester United debut.

 

The 37-year-old forward missed the club's pre-season tour of Thailand and Australia, as well as the friendly against Atletico Madrid in Oslo on Saturday.

 

Ronaldo has confirmed that he will participate in Manchester United's friendly against Rayo Vallecano on Sunday at Old Trafford.

 

"Sunday, the king plays," Ronaldo commented in response to an Instagram post about Manchester United's roster for Saturday's game against Atletico Madrid.Ronaldo will not be the only big name facing Rayo Vallecano on Sunday, with Raphael Varane, Aaron Wan-Bissaka, and Luke Shaw also missing the trip to Norway but expected to play in Manchester.

 

Following the two of friendlies this weekend, United will kick out their Premier League campaign against Brighton at home on 7 August, with Ronaldo almost certainly not starting.
