The final preseason matchup between Manchester United and Atletico Madrid will take place before the start of the new Premier League season next weekend.

In their final exhibition game before the season, United takes against Atletico.

On Saturday in the early afternoon, Manchester United will meet Atletico Madrid in Oslo.

After a tour of Thailand and Australia, which allowed Erik ten Hag's team to play friendlies against Liverpool, Melbourne Victory, Crystal Palace, and Aston Villa, United went undefeated in preseason play this summer.

The Reds will play both of their remaining preseason games this weekend. United play Rayo Vallecano on Sunday at Old Trafford and Atletico Madrid on Saturday in Oslo. The Vallecano game is anticipated to be used as a chance for fringe players and young players to Obtain minutes.

Ten Hag has opted to use a strong starting lineup to open preseason games this summer, and the same is anticipated in Oslo.

According to our writers, United should line up as follows:

John Luckhurst

Ten Hag will probably start Lisandro Martinez with Harry Maguire so he can have a good look at him. Tyrell Malacia gets a new start because Luke Shaw, who was off the pace once more in the second half in Perth, is unable to travel.

Fred and Christian Eriksen might start for United in the middle of the field against Brighton, so it would be wise to practice playing together in Oslo. In all but one of the four games in Thailand and Australia, the front four must remain the same.Ronaldo won't be participating in the game today.

Marshall, Tyrone

This is United's toughest test of the summer, and Ten Hag has been starting his strongest lineup throughout the preseason. One week until the start of the season, he must identify the lineup he plans to start against Brighton.

De Gea would have started in goal, Dalot and Shaw at fullback, but with Shaw not traveling, Malacia will probably get another start. If Martinez is going to join Maguire at the beginning of the season, even if it's just for 45 or an hour, it makes sense to start them together even though he might not be ready for 90 minutes.

Fred and Fernandes are slated to start, securing two of the midfield positions. De Jong has still not signed, hence the other job is available. Although Eriksen is the wildcard to watch, even though selecting him would make it feel like a highly offensive midfield, McTominay likely has a tiny advantage over Van de Beek.

The front three are the most established part of the team because Ronaldo isn't going to Oslo. Rashford, Sancho, and Martial all had respectable trips and have a solid rapport. Today, a longer run-out will be beneficial against elite opposition.

Before the season begins, Ten Hag must give his strongest team a thorough test run, which can result in the debut of two players.

Maguire is still the preferred center-back, so seeing Martinez play beside him for the first time would be fantastic. Malacia and Dalot appear prepared to begin.

Eriksen has recently played in a deeper midfield position, so it would be interesting to see him used in that position against Atletico. Fred is deserving of keeping his spot and has a chance to claim the deepest midfield position this year.

There are no shocks up front because Sancho, Rashford, and Martial all performed well in the preseason.

Robert Railston

Maguire has started in the center of defense on the right side during preseason, which suggests that Ten Hag has been getting ready to welcome Martinez, a left-footer.The Argentine arrived at Carrington for training on Tuesday and is expected to make his debut.

Although Eriksen is anticipated to compete with Fernandes for the starting No. 10 spot, it wouldn't be unexpected to see him play deeper. It would be intriguing to see how much influence a midfield three consisting of Eriksen, Fred, and Fernandes might have on the game.

Currently, the front three selects itself; ideally, Martial can maintain his preseason comeback.
