 (Eric's pov) 

 I sneaked into the house without anyone noticing me. 

 I retired to my bed, I took my iPad to login facebook, I searched Joy to accept her friend request cause I added myself using her phone. 

 She was active so I decided to message her, before I'd do other things she has replied my message, I login messenger to make things faster. 

 I wanted to know more about so I asked her to introduce herself, after she'd done she asked me to do same. 

 Where she works was close to my shop so I felt cool cause I'll go to her office tomorrow morning, she works in a photo lab. 

 I asked if she will be my bestie but she turned me down, I felt bas cause I've never been turned down by a girl before, I promise to do my best and date her, I'll leave her heart broken just the way she declined me. 

 I logout immediately she said know that she doesn't recommend male and female besties.

(joy's pov) 

 He is gone off line, I decided to go off "naughty Nigeria children, they'll not inform you before going off" I said before going off. 

"American children so you're still awake, ain't you going to work tomorrow? " my elder sister Ruth asked me

"I'll go " I answered 

"then sleep cause I have something to tell you " she said. 

"okay, goodnight " I said 

"sweet dream" she answered 

 I turned to sleep, I felt cold in me, I smiled hugging my pillow. 

 The next morning I dressed for work, I was inside taxi when I remembered Eric, I slapped myself for dressing roughly but no qualms 

 I went to work to discover that I'm the first, I opened the door, the place looked unkept so I decided to clean up. 

 I swept the place about to mop when Eric came in, he decided to help me but I declined.

 I finished cleaning the place then I start down with him to chat. 

 "how was your night " I asked 

"it was good and you " he answered 

"Same" I answered, we were quiet fir a while before I broke the silence "let's play a game " I said 

"what kind of game? " he answered 

"T or D" I answered 

"I choose T" he said 

"what's your greatest fear? " I asked 

"getting a girl pregnant " he answered, I smiled hearing his own fear. 

"okay I choose T" I said cause I don't like D

"do you have a boyfriend? " he asked 

"no I don't date, I hate it" I lied

"jeez, why? " he asked 

"cause most guys are players"i answered

"not all dear, you can give them trial" he answered 

 I almost laughed cause I know my weakness, I don't stay with a guy came I don't like complain. 

"I want you to be my girlfriend " he said 

"let's continue the game, choose " I said trying to change the story. 

 "No let's continue, I like you " he said 

"just forget about me in that aspect, I don't think I need a boyfriend " I said

 If you don't need then you should want" he said 

 I was about to reply him when they brought the light, I stood up to the inner room to go and change the switch. 

 He followed me in, immediately I changed the switch I turned to leave when he drew me to him for a k*ss, I reciprocate. 

"even at work? " I thought to myself then stopped the k*ss.

"I love you " he said 

"I love you too " I answered not sincerely though. 

 Eric and I became lovers until the day he asked me to visit him in his house, I was happy for his invitation.

 He told me to call him when I get to a junction, I did as we agreed. 

(Eric's pov) 

 I wanted joy to come over cause my mum was not at home but I don't know what to tell Karen. 

 Karen is now my girlfriend, I don't want her to suspect anything when Joy comes so I chat her up that my sister will be coming over. 

 So I went to pick Joy, I took her to my house, she's worse than the slay queen. 

 She agreed to eat noodles but she refused to cook it saying she doesn't know how to cook, I did the cooking and she boldly joined me at the dinning room to eat. 

"Joy seriously you mean you can't cook? " I asked 

"yes of cause, I'm learning how to cook " she answered 

 After eating we sat at the living room watching each other, I decided to say something cause she's my girlfriend and I have access to her. 

"babe I feel like removing your clothes " I said 

"happy removing " she answered, I felt bad. 

 I moved to her and wrapped my hands around her neck. "what's the problem? Why can't you say something nice to me? " I asked 

"don't forget your greatest fear, you must not go against it" she said 

 I pulled her for a kiss but she resisted, I tried to force her when the door opened, it was my mum again.
