Christian Eriksen, who joined Manchester United earlier this summer, has responded to those who have questioned his place in the team with playmaker Bruno Fernandes currently playing for the Red Devils.
In response to assertions that he has "no chance" of playing alongside Bruno Fernandes at Manchester United, Christian Eriksen has hit back.
After making an impression with Premier League opponents Brentford in the second half of last season, the Danish playmaker joined Old Trafford earlier this summer on a free transfer. After a summer of change, with Paul Pogba, Nemanja Matic, and Juan Mata all bidding farewell to the club in recent months, he strengthens the Red Devils' midfield options.
Danny Murphy asserted that despite his arrival, Eriksen might find himself lagging Portuguese playmaker Bruno Fernandes at Old Trafford. "I believe United will only field one No. 10," he remarked. After pursuing Frenkie de Jong for the most of the transfer window, Man Utd is now aiming to strengthen their midfield even more with the addition of Eriksen. Even if Barcelona seems eager to trade, the Dutchman isn't sure he wants to play at Old Trafford.
