Tom Huddlestone, a Manchester United sign, is allegedly in discussions with the club about a shocking free exchange.
Tom Huddlestone is being negotiated by Manchester United as a free agent to serve as a U21 player-coach.

The 35-year-old midfielder is now without a club after leaving Hull City near the end of the previous season.

The Telegraph also claims that United is willing to hire Huddlestone as a player-mentor for their Under-21 team.

The role would be similar to the one that Paul McShane filled last year.

The former Irish international has now retired from playing but continues to serve as an improvement consultant at United.

The decision to sign Huddlestone seems to have come out of nowhere.

Regardless, Red Devils supporters may be assured that he is not a viable choice, unlike Barcelona's Frenkie de Jong.

Huddlestone would bring a lot of engagement to United's early positions.

The playmaker has appeared for Derby, Hull, and Tottenham matches.

In addition, Huddlestone earned four covers for England, with the most recent one occurring in 2012.

He would become the most recent player to join United's positions who came from further back.

That happened when Benni McCarthy accepted a position with Erik ten Hag's senior crew as a going after mentor.

The former striker for Blackburn and Porto will try to get the best out of stars like Anthony Martial and Marcus Rashford once more.

Whatever the case, he is most likely not going to collaborate with Cristiano Ronaldo, who never seems to drive off the road.

Employed managers were unimpressed with the veteran's performance in Sunday's match against Rayo Vallecano.

Ronaldo first scowled after receiving instructions from Ten Hag.

At that moment, he left the game early and missed his new chief's post-game remarks.

Ronaldo might end up waiting, but he would do so hesitantly because there were few buyers in the exchange market.
