6 understudies remanded over another assault case at KNUST
Six understudies of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) have been remanded on Wednesday.

The suspects were blamed for assaulting a first-year understudy.

The advancement comes after the suspects were charged at the Asokore Mampong District Court.

This is the second time a KNUST understudy has been accused of assaulting one more understudy at the school.

The legal counselor of the suspects, Richard Adu Darko in a meeting with Accra-based TV3 after the consultation expressed that until demonstrated liable by the court or the suspects confess, he accepts his clients are honest.

How a cop, KNUST understudy assaulted female understudy

Last month, a cop positioned at Bomso and a KNUST understudy were captured for purportedly assaulting a first-year understudy of the school.

Joel Osei Owusu, a Level 400 Business Administration understudy, is claimed to have tricked the casualty into his room at Ultimate Hostel and effectively had sex with her.

Joel later welcomed his companion, whom the casualty profoundly thought to be a cop at the Bomso Police Station, into the room.
