On Monday, a mentally challenged woman believed to be in her 50's was arrested by Police at Kwame Nkrumah Circle in Accra after she stoned an unknown young man with a rock and killed him in the process.
Footage from Adom TV gives an account of the gory scene showing the man lying in a pool of blood at the Nkrumah Interchange, popularly known as Ghana Dubai.
According to eyewitnesses and unconfirmed reports, the deceased came to Accra from the village on Sunday to seek greener pastures but unfortunately met his untimely death.
He’s reported to have come to town to look for work as a bus conductor but met the mad woman who hit his head with a stone.
In the spur of the moment, the woman reportedly started throwing stones at the man who slumped to the ground after he got hit. Onlookers were afraid to get close to the mad woman who was very aggressive and throwing stones anyhow. The young man bled to death.
