Real Madrid is said to be looking for a great striker with these qualities
Real Madrid's attack is adequate, but it requires improvement. Of course, you can't go wrong with Vinicius Junior and Karim Benzema as your dynamic duo. The right-wing spot is still up in the air, but Fede Valverde could become a full-time starter there. Real do, however, require a backup striker, and it appears that they are finally working on it, at least according to reports.
Real Madrid are interested in signing a striker, according to AS's Manu Sainz, and one of the strikers on their list is Raul De Tomas, who wants to leave Espanyol this summer.
According to the report, Raul De Tomas has numerous offers on the table, but he is not interested.

De Tomas is a fantastic player. He's in his prime; he's a great striker with a lot of goals. But here's the thing. He is at the peak of his powers.
Why would a striker in his prime want to play for a club where he will always be second fiddle to the best players in the world? Of course, De Tomas is excellent, but he's not going to be a starter. Would he be willing to sit on the bench for the majority of the season just to play for the club? I'm not sure.
He'd be like that with De Tomas he’d be a good option off the bench for Real Madrid, but RDT can be a starter elsewhere, why would he want to be on the bench here? I wouldn’t mind it if De Tomas accepts that role, but for a striker that is going to start less than 10 games per season, it’s just odd.
He’ll definitely be a great scorer off the bench, though, and if the Spaniard can stick around and provide the team with valuable minutes, I am sure he’d be a great signing. I just don’t see him accepting a bench role, and he won’t get anything more than that at Real Madrid.
