Danielle and Coleen are good pals

Following Rebekah Vardy's first televised interview since the Wagatha Christie High Court libel case concluded last week, model Danielle Lloyd defended friend and fellow Liverpudlian Coleen Rooney.

In the TalkTV studio, Danielle, 38, a former WAG who was formerly married to footballer Jamie O'Hara from 2012 to 2014, blamed Rebekah, 40, for putting Coleen, 36, through two years of "hell."

Danielle remarked in reference to the fabricated stories Coleen posted on Instagram, "These stuff came from her account."

In relation to the fabricated news Coleen published on Instagram and then leaked to the media, which ultimately led to Rebekah's exposure, Danielle remarked, "These tales came from her account."

Rebekah Vardy speaks to TalkTV's Kate McCann

Rebekah Vardy converses with Kate McCann of TalkTV.

"She may not be telling the truth, and I believe she is lying to protect her reputation. She had the power to stop all of this.

Being the target of trolls is unpleasant and shouldn't happen, yet it's impossible to ignore the messages.

She went on: "At times, it made me want to scream as I watched.

"She claimed not to want the cash, but there was a text message in there requesting payment. There were several hazy lines."

When host Jeremy Kyle inquired about Coleen's suffering, Danielle responded: "I believe she sent that text because she was under a lot of stress (on social media).

"She had gone through hell for two years because she didn't know who to believe. Going through it and not knowing who friends to trust or whether it was family must have been traumatic. I'm delighted she was able to determine its origin in such a cunning way."

Coleen and Danielle get along well.

Coleen made a statement on social media after the trial was over, outlining the case's history but refusing to speak to the media about her trauma.

Naturally, I'm happy that the court decided in my favor in her decision today. I never sought for or wanted such a case.

"I made constant efforts to avoid the need for such a public and protracted court fight both before and after my social media posts in October 2019," the author said.

But Mrs. Vardy and her attorneys rejected all of my attempts to do so.

Coleen published a lengthy statement on social media following the conclusion of the libel case

After the libel case was resolved, Coleen posted a lengthy statement on social media.

Rebekah Vardy departs the Royal Courts of Justice, Strand on May 13

On May 13, Rebekah Vardy leaves the Royal Courts of Justice, Strand.

"This left me with little choice but to proceed with the action in order to defend myself and put an end to The Sun repeatedly receiving my private information.

"In 2017, the leaks from my personal Instagram account started. They persisted in violating my family's and my privacy for almost two years.

"Although I have no malice toward Mrs. Vardy, today's ruling proves that I was correct in what I said in my Instagram posts.

Finally, I would want to thank my whole legal team, my family, friends, and everyone else who has helped me during this trying and stressful period, including the general public.
