US urges Russia to acknowledge arrangement to free imprisoned b-ball star

The US has encouraged Moscow to acknowledge an arrangement to free ball player Brittney Griner, who has been condemned to nine years in a Russian jail.

The twofold Olympic victor was sentenced for having and carrying drugs subsequent to conceding to having pot oil.
